Finding Your Steam ID
Some of our applications ask for your Steam ID so we can look up your in-game presence. You don't need to find an exact number - a link works just fine. Pick whichever option below is easiest.
Already have your profile link? Paste it here
We'll pull the ID out for you automatically - no reading required.
Don't have your link yet? Here's how
Once you've got it, come back up to the box above and paste it in.
- 1Open Steam and log in (the desktop app, or steamcommunity.com in your browser both work).
- 2Click your name at the top of the window, then click View Profile.
- 3Copy the web address from the address bar at the top of your browser.
- 4Paste that whole link into the Steam ID field. Done - that's genuinely all we need.
Want to grab the exact ID instead?
If you'd rather copy just the ID itself, here's what to look for in that same profile link.
If your link looks like this:
steamcommunity.com/id/your-custom-nameYour Steam ID is:your-custom-nameIf your link looks like this:
steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198000000000Your Steam ID is:76561198000000000In other words: just copy whatever comes after /id/ or /profiles/ in your profile link.
Need to convert between ID formats?
If you have a custom profile name (like /id/your-name) and specifically need the long numeric version, paste your profile link into steamid.io - it instantly shows every ID format at once.
Still stuck? Don't worry about getting it "right" - just paste your full Steam profile URL into the application field and we'll take it from there.
